Each year they search for the hottest lady in the land, and this year AskMen has named Sofia Vergara as the Most Desirable Woman of 2012.
The “Modern Family” hottie’s curvaceous form and flirty personality garnered her the most votes on the website’s contest, a feat made more impressive by considering the competition.
At #2 was Kate Upton, while Rooney Mara scored the third spot and Miranda Kerr came in at a respectable #4.
Surprisingly, Megan Fox fell to #96 while Pippa Middleton landed at #98. Pippa’s Royal sister Kate did well at #11 and Kim Kardashian rests easy at #8.

Putting her beauty on full display, Sofia Vergara was looking fabulous as she attended the opening day of the Ischia Global Film and Music Festival in Ischia, Italy on Sunday (July 11).
The Colombian beauty donned a sexy little dress which showed off her curvy figure as she took in the happenings while also being presented with a cake in honor of her 38th birthday – which was on Saturday.
The overseas trip comes shortly after Miss Vergara joined Joel McHale in announcing nominees for the Emmy Awards – of which Sofia was picked as a contender for best supporting actress in a comedy series.
Of the honor, she tells, “I’m so new to acting and America, so I didn’t know it meant something when they invite you here. Somebody should have told me!”
With her hit comedy “Modern Family” also garnering a nod for best comedy, Vergara told TV Guide, “I was completely sure that Modern Family was going to be nominated [for best comedy]. We had such an amazing year.”
