Reg Traviss, Amy Winehouse’s heartbroken boyfriend, says of his grief over the singer’s sudden death: “I can’t describe what I am going through.”
“I want to thank all those who are mourning the loss of Amy – such a beautiful, brilliant person and my dear love,” Traviss told the UK’s Sun.
Reg, 35, wept beside fans who paid tribute to the music star outside her North London home, and again today at Amy Winehouse’s funeral.

Reg Traviss, right, with Amy’s father Mitch Winehouse.
Today’s service comes after police revealed they will have to wait 2-4 weeks for the results of toxicology tests to establish her cause of death.
A distraught Reg said that contrary to reports of Amy being distraught over their breakup, she had been upbeat and full of life in recent days.
Traviss said Amy had been excitedly choosing clothes to go to a pal’s wedding on Sunday. He added: “Amy kept trying to decide what to wear.”
“She had laid out her dresses to make up her mind. She was really looking forward to it.” Obviously, she didn’t make it, dying a day earlier.
“The last three days have been hell,” Traviss said.
Saturday, the film director’s world came crashing down when he learned Amy, just 27 years old, had been found dead in bed at her home.
“We have suffered a terrible untimely loss and want peace now. I can’t describe what I am going through. I want to thank so much all of the people who have paid their respects and who are mourning the loss of Amy.”
“She was such a beautiful, brilliant person and my dear love,” he added. “I have lost my darling who I loved very much.”
Reg, speaking of Amy for the first time since her death, went out of his way to deny rumors that she had been in a drug-fueled haze.
“She has been full of life and so upbeat recently, exercising everyday and doing yoga,” he said. “This terrible thing is like an accident.”
Reg Traviss had being seeing Amy for two years.
Amy’s family, who saw clean-cut Reg as the perfect boyfriend after her catastrophic marriage to Blake Fielder-Civil, thought highly of him.
A source said: “Reg has been dignified throughout his relationship with Amy. The family, they all love him dearly. He’s a good guy.”
“What happened in their life together remained very private because he was determined to help get her back on her feet properly.”
“He wasn’t interested in the limelight – unlike a lot of her exes.”
Reg, who spent yesterday with Mitch, Amy’s mom Janis, brother Alex and manager Raye Cosbert, tried to keep Amy safe from her demons.
But he spent a large part of the past year working on his latest movie, Screwed. Filming took him away from home. That left Amy to her own devices in London – and at the mercy of those who preyed on her addictions.
The exact cause of Amy’s death is not known. A post mortem carried was inconclusive and toxicology tests will take weeks. The singer’s family believe she was killed by either a heart attack or a fatal seizure, not drugs.
Amy had regular heart palpitations and had suffered seizures – likely caused by the pounding her body had taken during years of abuse.

Having just recovered from the presence of Jersey Shore, the good folks of The Sunshine State must next deal with The Real Housewives of Miami. We’re very sorry for them.
The first season of this new Bravo franchise kicks off on February 22 and the cast members spoke to The Miami New Times this week about what we can expect. Read on for excerpts from the interview…

Why did you sign on for this show?
Lea Black: At the time I wasn’t sure. And now, I think its become a phenomenon. I think Bravo has created a pop culture phenomenon. At first, I had trepidations about it… It didn’t start out as a Housewives show. It kind evolved into one. And I guess, just live life and see what happens. Take your chances and go for it.
What kind of drama can we expect?
Lea: It’s going to be fun above the belt drama. I think that Bravo is a master at creating fabulous reality television. I think what they have done is take the best of everything, and make it fun, exciting, and upbeat. There is quite a bit of drama, but I wouldn’t say it’s hair pulling, table flipping drama. I would say it is a different type of drama. People will be fascinated by the characters.
Compare yourselves to Jersey Shore.
Alexia Echevarria: I mean, we have a completely different cast. The way we carry and behave ourselves is very different too, so I don’t think there is any similarities or comparisons when comparing our shows. Except for maybe we showcase Miami the same way they did – the fabulous places, mingling with different people. At the same time, we’re putting Miami in a completely different light and in a positive light.
Are you afraid how your friends/family will be portrayed in the media?
Marysol Patton: For me and my clients, it will be great. For my mom, she doesn’t go on the Internet or read weeklies, so I don’t think she will know what to expect.

Breaking her silence for the first time since the now-infamous Mel Gibson tapes were leaked, Oksana Grigorieva says she recorded him because she feared for her life, and that his response (or lack thereof) amounts to a trivializing of domestic violence.
Oksana told her unofficial mouthpiece Radar Online all about the custody fight for daughter Lucia, Gibson’s vile rants and the disturbing abuse photos.
“I’m devastated. Everybody’s devastated,” Grigorieva said, adding that with her ex’s silence, “I think Mel, basically, is trivializing domestic violence.”
“It is unfair that by standing up to somebody – and speaking out – I am being victimized all over again. He has hurt so many people,” Oksana said.
Grigorieva says she recorded and saved the phone calls and voicemails from an enraged Gibson that have sparked so much controversy out of fear.
“I didn’t think I was going to make it through the night,” she explains.

Oksana says Mel needs to tell the truth.
“Everything, by the way, this is really important, all of the tapes that you hear on the Internet, all of them were recorded that one night. The tapes, as you call them, the voicemails, everything was recorded that night because I was in fear for my life.”
“I really did not think I was going to make it.”
Gibson hasn’t publicly commented on Grigorieva’s claims, but his attorneys say he did not hit Oksana and have tried to cast doubt on all evidence.
For her part, Oksana denies extortion allegations by Mel’s legal team: “It is all false information he is feeding the press. It is a smear campaign.”
Saying that a court order prevents her from revealing details, she pleaded to Mel: “Speak the truth, tell the truth, for the sake of your daughter.”
Authorities are still investigating both the extortion charge against Oksana Grigorieva, as well as domestic violence claims against Mel Gibson.

The domestic agenda of Barack Obama was not the only thing affected by the election of Scott Brown as a senator from Massachusetts.
The politician’s daughter, Ayla Brown, has found herself back in the spotlight.
A season five semifinalist on American Idol, Ayla had pretty much faded into obscurity prior to her dad’s shocking victory. She had planned to release a new album in April, but her label called the morning after Mr. Brown was elected and said it wanted to move up the release date of “Circles.” To January 26!

Fortunately, the CD was complete and Brown can look forward to greater sales than previously expected. She talked about the whirlwind of her career with Entertainment Weekly:
On her American Idol experience: It was positive. I was 17 at the time. I had only played basketball. Never sang in front of people, except for national anthems at local high school games. So being on stage with a live band was a first for me. Of course I was nervous. Of course there were times I felt I had no idea what I was doing. That was the fun part.
On her new album: This CD I’ve had much more of a part in, in terms of the thought process, the lyric writing, music, everything. It means that much more to me because of that.
On her dad’s Idol prospects: Uh, I don’t think he would do well at all. I haven’t heard him sing in years. I would be very curious to see how that would go.
Will you purchase Ayla’s album?
