Having made her way back to California after spending the holidays in Barbados and Florida, Rihanna was spotted making her way around West Hollywood, CA on Thursday night (January 5).
The 23-year-old “We Found Love” singer rocked a navy and grey sweater with yellow sleeves paired with dark jeans as she ended up dropping by a local tattoo parlor to reportedly add another ink job to her continuously growing collection of body art.
On the career front, RiRi continues to hold court as one of the most popular acts around, as she was just named as the best-selling artist online.
According to Nielsen SoundScan, the Barbadian beauty’s sales totaled more than 47.5 million at the end of 2011 – which edged out second place finisher, The Black Eyed Peas (42.4 million).
With Eminem garnering the third slot (42.2 million) and Lady Gaga fourth (42 million), the top ten was rounded out in respective order by Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, Lil Wayne, Beyonce, Kanye West and Britney Spears.

Will Rihanna and Chris Brown do the unthinkable?
Nearly three years after the infamous assault that ended their relationship and nearly put him in jail, the two are working toward getting back together, according one of the most prolific and unreliable celebrity news sources around! That’s crazy!
Chris Brown and Rihanna’s Tweets this week got people talking, and MediaTakeOut (dot) com has apparently “been hearing reports for some time” that Rihanna and Brown are working on “RECONCILIATION” (their word, and unnecessary capitals).
SO is it happening or not?
According to the celebrity gossip site, a person close to Chris Brown says he’d like nothing more than to get back with her. But since the “incident” Chris felt that he’d destroyed any and all chances of a relationship with his “soul mate.”
So he stayed away from her, by law, at her request.
But now things have changed. Rihanna and Chris are speaking to each other on the phone, exchanging IMs and text messages to boot. Insanity!
She’s in Barbados right now (check out these bikini photos!) but they reportedly plan to meet up when Rihanna returns to Los Angeles next week.
Chris is said to be ecstatic, but Jay Z and Rihanna’s managers are reportedly furious that they’re back on speaking terms and may reconcile?

Her new album Loud is one of the most anticipated of the year, and Rihanna’s new song complicated is one of the reasons for that.
The “Umbrella” songstress told press that the dance-infused track is easily relatable to both men and women and deals with the trials of relationships.
“That song, it’s not a sex thing. It’s not like only women can sing this song or only women can relate to this song, ’cause it’s an individual thing and sometimes, sometimes men are just too complicated and then again, men can find women complicated.”
“But it all depends on the individual. Because not all women think love is complicated and not all men think that, but there are some women and some men who strongly believe that love is just too complicated.”
“Women, they’re the first to say, ‘It’s your fault,’ but most of the time it is [the man's] fault. But men are also great at turning that sh– around on us and making us believe that we’re wrong for something that we didn’t even do. At the end of the day, love is f—ing complicated.”

Finishing off her stay in the Big Apple, Rihanna was spotted departing her Manhattan hotel in SoHo, NY on Saturday afternoon (August 14).
With a hotel staffer toting her luggage, the Barbadian beauty looked dazzling in a tight-fitting ensemble as she made her way to her outgoing SUV chauffeur.
The sighting comes just after RiRi;s Madison Square Garden show, during which she told the crowd, “Thanks, all of you who bought a ticket tonight to come see me. I’m at Madison Square Garden and thanks to you guys, we sold out Madison Square Garden — thank you so much.”
From here, the Barbadian beauty will be hitting Atlantic City, NJ for a show later tonight followed by a show in Wantagh, NY on Sunday (August 15).

Enjoying a night out, Blake Lively was spotted at Rihanna’s New York City concert last night (August 12).
In the midst of a swarm of people, the “Gossip Girl” star was escorted out of the venue by several bodyguards, keeping her head down to avoid the media frenzy.
Rihanna’s “Last Girl On Earth” tour featuring Ke$ha drew out an impressive crowd and filled the house at Madison Square Garden.
In other news, Ms Lively has been hard at work on the set of “Gossip Girl” as its Season 4 premiere is set for September 13th on the CW.

Pushing forth with another date on her overseas tour, Rihanna was on top of her game in Arnhem, Holland on Saturday night (April 17).
Cranking out hit after hit, the “Rude Boy” singer dazzled as she took the stage at the GelreDome as part of her “Last Girl On Earth” tour duties.
As previously reported by Gossip Center, Rihanna’s “Rude Boy” has once again topped the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart for the fifth week in a row.
The Barbadian singer has also confirmed that she will join the Lilith Fair tour this summer to perform with artists including Mary J. Blige, Jill Scott, and Erykah Badu.
