It’s a doubly great day to be an Adam Lambert fan today.
First, the singer announced that he would front an upcoming tour with the remaining band members of Queen, hitting up various arenas and stadiums in honor of late singer Freddie Mercury.
Now, Lambert has released the official music video for his latest single – off his soon-to-be-released album – “Better Than I Know Myself.” In it, we see two sides of the singer, as a pair of personalities square off; one is all dark and leather-y, the other calm, serene, sipping on tea even.
Gearing up for the November 9th release, “J. Edgar” premiered in Los Angeles earlier tonight (November 3) and there were plenty of stars in attendance.
The film’s leading man Leonardo DiCaprio showed up looking dapper as he posed for the paparazzi outside the Grauman’s Chinese Theatre along with director Clint Eastwood.
Also in the house were handsome hunks Armie Hammer, Colton Hayes and Ed Westwick, as well as the beautiful Naomi Watts who was joined by husband Liev Schreiber.
“J. Edgar” is about J. Edgar Hoover, “the face of law enforcement in America for almost 50 years. Hoover was feared and admired, reviled and revered. But behind closed doors, he held secrets that would have destroyed his image, his career, and his life.”
Taking over Grauman’s Chinese Theatre, “The Green Lantern” held its Los Angeles premiere earlier tonight (June 15).
The film’s stars Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively both made it out for the affair and looked fabulous as they greeted fans and press.
With the lovely Angela Bassett also on hand, Reynolds explained what sets “Lantern” apart from other films that have come out of the booming superhero genre.
“A lot of the current iterations of superheroes are a little bit darker and more serious in tone. The thing I distilled from diving into that mythology and that universe is that there’s a tone that’s different.”
Ryan continued, “He’s not overly funny, but he’s witty. I always say he’s that guy who can throw a punch, tell a joke and kiss the girl. It was mostly just finding out who Hal Jordan was and also distilling what it is that the fanboys love about him and making sure that that can be found up on screen because if they love it there’s a good chance that a broader audience will love it.”
Having already outperformed expectations in the States, Mandy Moore took her Disney animated film “Tangled” to Sydney, Australia over the weekend.

The story of the long-haired Princess Rapunzel falling in love with a bandit is set to hit theaters in the Land Down Under on January 6 after being released in the U.S. on in late November.
Meanwhile, aside from her movie endeavors, Mandy recently spoke with the NY Post about abandoning her pop career.
She said, “I wasn’t happy, and I don’t think [the record company] was particularly happy. I wasn’t interested in going into the studio and singing about shoes and boys and, you know, dealing with whatever hot producer-of-the-week they wanted to have me work with.”
Stepping out for her new movie, Halle Berry looked stunning as she arrived at the premiere of “Frankie and Alice” at the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood, California on Tuesday night (November 30).
Opting to get glammed up in an intricately patterned black and gold jacket/pant ensemble, the Oscar winning actress joined director Geoffrey Sax while boosting interest in the drama which also stars Stellan Skarsgard, Phylicia Rashad and Chandra Wilson.
Aside from “Frankie & Alice,” Miss Berry recently confirmed plans to take on a role in the upcoming “Cloud Atlas” project.
She told press, “I’m going to do a movie probably in the summer with the Wachowski’s. It’s not brothers anymore, but the Wachowski’s. A really interesting movie. Sort of like what they did with The Matrix. They have another really amazing idea that’s sort of gonna stretch our brains even further. And so I’m really excited about that and that’s probably gonna be in the summer. And that’s with Tom Hanks and Natalie Portman.”

With the screening being held at The Elgin, Keith warmly escorted his lovely bride through the press area before grabbing a seat as Nicole took the stage to briefly speak to the audience.
Also starring Aaron Eckhart and Sandra Oh, “Rabbit Hole” is based on a play by David Lindsay-Abaire finding “life for a happy couple turned upside down after their young son dies in an accident.”
