On this Christmas Day, we are not greeting readers with a ho, ho, ho. But rather with a: no, no, no he didn’t!
During yesterday’s Bengals/Cardinals matchup, Cincinnati wide receiver Jerome Simpson took a swing pass from quarterback Andy Dalton, ran untouched down the sideline and was then greeted by a defender at the goal line. His reaction?
It must be seen to be believed. Simpson stopped, planted two feet on the turf and did a 360 flip into the end zone. Really, the score should have been worth at least 10 points…

An official agreement must still be reached, but it’s safe to celebrate, NBA fans: the lockout is over!
Commissioner David Stern and Player’s Association leader Billy Hunter appeared at a joint press conference last night and announced that a tentative agreement had been reached, the results of which mean the following: training camps and free agency will begin on December 9. A 66-game season will kick off on Christmas Day.
What is the celebrity gossip spin to all this? Kris Humphries is a free agent, of course. Where will Kim’s reality TV co-star play ball next season?!?
The bruising power forward averaged a double-double in 2010-2011, growing into one of the few bright spots for the New Jersey Nets. That team may attempt to re-sign him, but its priority will be locking up point guard Deron Williams to a long-term deal.
With no hard cap in place, the Knicks will have the deep pockets to a lure a few key free agents, and we all know how much Kris has embraced the big market lifestyle.
No matter where Humphries ends up playing, only one question really matters: With what cheer will NBA fans taunt him? We’ve offered a few possibilities below and we welcome any other suggestions:

On the same day we confirmed Elin Nordegren and Jamie Dingman are an official item, Tiger Woods and his longtime companion have parted ways.
Dude fired caddy Steve Williams after 13 years!
The high-profile celebrity breakup was announced via Tiger’s website, which says, “I want to express my deepest gratitude to Stevie for all his help, but I think it’s time for a change … I wish [Steve] great success in the future.”
No word if Tiger was cheating with another caddy or 20.
Stevie says he’s shocked by the move, especially because he stuck by Woods’ side throughout the stunning cheating scandal of 2009-10.
“After 13 years of loyal service needless to say this came as a shock,” he says.
“Given the circumstances of the past 18 months working through Tiger’s scandal, a new coach and with it a major swing change… I’m very disappointed to end our very successful partnership at this time.”
Stevie went on 60 Minutes last year to say he never knew anything about the golf legend’s affair with Rachel Uchitel or other assorted VIP hostesses.

Making for quite the adorable duo, Lea Michele was spotted spending time with her mom in West Hollywood, California over the weekend (October 23).
The 24-year-old Rachel Berry babe led the way as her nurse mother, Edith Sarfati, followed closely behind upon finishing their meals at Le Pain Quotidien.
The sighting comes amidst reports from Star magazine claiming that Miss Michele is upset over her lessened airtime on the hit FOX show “Glee”.
With the program bringing in a wider range of characters, Star’s source tells, “In the beginning, she was the biggest star. But some of the biggest episodes have taken attention away from her, like the Britney Spears show, which was all about Heather Morris (Brittany). She thinks that because she has a Broadway background, this show was made for her.”
As for the persistent rumors claiming that Lea acts like a diva on-set and feuds with her co-stars, the Star insider dished, “It’s not easy being around Lea on set. She has put several people’s backs up and it’s showing no sign of improving.”

Using his celebrity to crusade for causes close to the heart, George Clooney arrived by amtrak train into Washington, D.C. for his meeting on Capitol Hill on Tuesday (October 12).
Sporting bandages on his fingers, the “Up In the Air” actor squeezed past a crowd of onlookers and press members as he spent time meeting with President Barack Obama on issues concerning Sudan.
Coming ahead of a critical election early next year in Africa’s largest nation, George reportedly is seeking worldwide assistance in preventing another civil war – which he sees as a strong possibility due to the fact that the January 9th vote happens to be “an independence referendum on south Sudan that is likely to split the country in two,” according to AP reports.
Joined by activist John Prendergast for the presidential meeting, Clooney left in a good mode – telling press that he thinks that Obama is well-knowledged on the situation with every intention of keeping the peace.

He’s a huge draw no matter what city he’s in, and on Tuesday night (July 20) Justin Beiber sent fans into a frenzy at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, California.
One L.A. concert-goer described the concert experience as “the best day of my life,” and that seemed to be the general consensus from the crowd.
A tween fan raved to MTV News once the concert ended, “I’ve been to, like, every Justin Bieber show in Los Angeles and this was probably my favorite.”
How exactly does he do it? One female fan replied, “His smile. His hair — the way he flips it. His eyes. The way he sings, the way he dances. He’s captivating. He’s a performer. He’s all of the world.”
