Showing up to face each other in court, Michael Lohan and Kate Major were both spotted earlier today (August 18) at the Southampton Town Justice Courthouse in New York.
A few weeks ago, Mr Lohan was facing second degree harassment charges after he reportedly threatened to kill Ms Major, then kicking her and shoving her into a chair.
Coming as a bit of a shock, however, while in court today, Kate asked the judge to drop the charges against Michael as well as to lift the order of protection.
Unless Lohan gets into trouble within the next six months, he should be in the clear.
“I’m happy with the outcome,” Major tells Gossip Cop. She explains, “I wanted to move on with my life in positive direction.”

Because there’s no better way to say “Sorry for kicking you in the face,” Michael Lohan has allegedly been shopping around nude photos of his ex-fiancee Kate Major (above) which she tells Popeater were taken without her knowledge. More importantly, I did not add the Charlie Tuna on the third pic, so don’t expect it Read More …

What happened to shutting up until May 13?
Shockingly, you can’t take anything Michael Lohan says at face value. Despite trying to work things out, he’s still on his ex-wife and daughter’s cases.
Michael’s lawyer, Lisa Bloom, says that in no uncertain terms, Michael is not backing down or backing off his efforts to get Lindsay Lohan into rehab.
This came after reports that Mike had backed off his demand for a conservatorship and was no longer going to force the issue. Not to worry – he is!
As for Dina, he plans to continuing riding her as well. In the figurative sense, anyway, about being her enabler … we don’t need anymore offspring.

ADDICT, ENABLER: Michael Lohan wants to pry the former from the latter.
Lawyers for Michael and Lindsay are “trying to resolve things amicably,” but resolving it amicably doesn’t mean Michael’s gonna back down, nor will he back off.
Bloom was quoted earlier: “There has been no agreement as to anything. All options remain open to save and protect Lindsay. That is Michael’s #1 priority.”
“Michael wants Lindsay in rehab. If she doesn’t, all options remain open. Her decision not to meet with him or go to rehab puts him in a difficult position.”
He doesn’t want Lindsay in jail, though he may not have a choice. She can tell off haters all she wants, but a probation violation is a probation violation.
Whose side are you on?

He’s married to one of the hottest ladies in showbiz, and it seems Michael Douglas has always had a way with the ladies.
In fact, when he was sixteen years old, the “Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps” actor was seduced by two of his mother’s friends, both of whom were 30 years old.
Douglas told press, “I wouldn’t want to get any of them in trouble. Though they’re probably dead now.”
As for his opening line when meeting wife Catherine Zeta-Jones, Michael revealed, “[I said] I want to father your children.”

On the coattails of his son’s 5 year prison sentence, Michael Douglas was spotted out in New York City on Wednesday (April 21).
Dressed in all black with a hat and shades on, the “You, Me and Dupree” actor took a stroll with his pup to pick up the daily newspaper.
On Tuesday, his 31-year-old son, Cameron, was sentenced to 5 years behind bars and ordered to pay $300,000 in fines for intending to distibute drugs, specifically methamphetamine and cocaine, as well as heroin possession.
Prior to his sentencing, a remorseful Cameron read a statement, saying, “I apologize to my family and loved ones for this nightmare and my behavior…to the court for my decisions and actions. I want to be a productive family member and role model for others to get advice, guidance and support and steer them in the right direction.”

Phew. That was close.
Due to a collective, nationwide brain fart, Michael Lynche found himself in the bottom three last night on American Idol. Once Aaron Kelly was deemed safe, Lynche then found himself in the bottom two alongside Andrew Garcia – and then the bottom one!
Granted, Big Mike’s rendition of “Eleanor Rigby” on Tuesday was overblown and far from his best. But, unlike viewers around the country, the judges were willing to give Lynche another shot: they unanimously voted to save him from elimination.
Think they made the right call?

The excitement, and flamboyance, on American Idol will be ratcheted up next week: Adam Lambert will mentor the contestants.
Regarding anyone’s fears, Adam Tweeted this week: “Don’t worry America: I will be beyond family friendly. Relax and enjoy. For Your Entertainment.”

It’s been one heck of a week for troubled star Lindsay Lohan, even by her standards. Two months behind on rent, her landlord sent a legal notice to pay or get out.
Lindsay paid $23,000 and avoided eviction … this time.
The one-time actress isn’t pulling in any income and her prospects for work are near non-existent because of substance abuse woes, according to inside sources.
We’ve told you how people close to her fear for her life. Well, there is a strong feeling – even resignation – that Lindsay Lohan will die soon if she doesn’t get help.
There is deep frustration among many that her mom, Dina, enables her by insisting Lindsay is fine. As for her other parent? Well, that dude defies description.

Michael Lohan, who has gone on a crusade against Linds’ supposed enablers (and this website in his free time), is none too pleased with her recent allegations.
Yesterday, she Tweeted abuse accusations once again. His reply?
“There was no physical abuse,” he said. “When there’s yelling, I tried to shelter my kids from arguments my wife and I had. Dina unfortunately got the kids involved in the things we did, the arguments we had, and still does. She uses my kids as pawns.”
As for his preferred means of electronic communication lately?
In an interview with E! News, he admitted that yes, he’s been reduced to tweeting and texting with his daughter (and emailing us) to get his point across:
“I am not going to sit back and watch my daughter die or fall victim to something that so many other kids did. She’s going to a rehab, there’s no doubt.”
“My daughter is going to go to a rehab center and she is going to get better. It does not matter how many times you go, but it has to be done the right way.
“I want her to be willing to do it on her own, and it seems that she’s living in denial. She thinks it’s OK and everyone says she’s fine. But is she fine?”
“Is Lindsay Lohan fine? Tell me I’m wrong and then I’ll stop.”

On that topic, Michael and Dina are on the same page for once. He went on to play a voicemail recording on which Dina is heard expressing her concern for Lindsay.
“I’m telling you, Michael, time’s running out with this kid; I know it, I’m a mother, I feel it,” Dina said. “She needs to get to a psychiatrist’s office today. Even if she just talks about anything. So she feels like she’s helping herself.”
Lohan said, laughably, that he didn’t want to drag other people into this.
“I don’t want to say anything about her assistants and the people around her, but I think they’re turning a blind eye and that’s enabling,” Mike alleges.
“She went from such a vibrant, wonderful, beautiful, beautiful, beautiful, caring, loving and inspirational woman to the exact opposite.”

Tragedy has struck the Osmond family.
Michael Blosil, the son of Marie Osmond, committed suicide last night. The trouble teen, who left a suicide note, jumped from his Los Angeles apartment building around 9 p.m.
Entertainment Tonight confirmed the news and quoted Donny Osmond as saying: “Please pray for my sister and her family,” while Marie recently released a statement that reads:
“My son Michael is an amazing young man, shown through his courage in facing his issues. As his mother, I couldn’t be more proud of him. The press and public have always been kind and gracious in the past, and I know they will continue to respect our privacy during this time.”

Michael was one of Marie’s eight kids. He reportedly suffered “severe depression” throughout his life, insiders say, and entered a rehab facility in 2007 at age 16.
Marie and Donny have canceled their Las Vegas show tonight, of course, and there’s no word on when they might return to the stage. Our thoughts our with their loved ones.

Just when you thought you’d heard everything, Michael Lohan and girlfriend Kate Major are moving from New York to Los Angeles together. There’s more too:
Lohan says he is hoping to get some of his “celebrity” pals to join him and participate in different charity fundraisers (i.e. PR opportunities) along the way.
M-Lo explains: “We’re calling the show Crossing Borders because not only will we be crossing physical borders state to state, but moral borders as well.”
Deep.

Two people who definitely need their own show.
“While each celebrity offers something different, each city will bring something new and different. Each celebrity sees him/herself as a good person. Viewers will see that we all try our best, but sometimes cross the borders of right and wrong.”
This guy ought to teach philosophy.
No word on when:
