Russell Brand and Katy Perry tied the knot Saturday night in India.
The couple “were pronounced Mr. and Mrs. Brand on Saturday, October 23,” they said after marrying in a private ceremony attended by close family and friends and performed by a Christian minister and longtime friend of Katy’s family.
We couldn’t be happier for the two of them.

Katy Perry and Russell Brand exchanged wedding vows at a luxury resort, with the backdrop “the inspirational and majestic countryside of Northern India.”
In the days leading up to the nuptials (which you can follow this link to read all about), Brand and Perry have been pulling out all the stops for their guests.
It sounds like the result was a near-perfect event. Despite the lavishness of certain aspects of the wedding, Russell said it was all about keeping it simple.
“We just love each other and we want to get married in front of our friends and family and keep it very normal,” said Brand earlier this month.” It ain’t about selling the pictures, it ain’t about doing no pre-nup, it’s just a normal thing.”
“I’m trying to preserve it, to keep it beautiful,” the Get Him to the Greek star said. “Love between two people is the most spectacular, yet ordinary thing in the world.”

Kody Brown and Robyn Sullivan are now married, making her one of TLC’s Sister Wives. Three Sister Wives and One Sister Fiancee didn’t have the same ring to it.
The Utah polygamist, who is under criminal investigation for, well, being a polygamist, officially tied the knot with Sullivan in Utah, upping the wife count to four.
Robyn didn’t enter the family by herself at the private ceremony. She has three kids from a previous marriage, joining Kody’s 13 kids with the other three wives.

TLC cameras were not allowed to capture the actual ceremony, but the reception will be on the controversial reality show documenting Kody Brown and wives.
Some of the drama leading up to the wedding will also be featured on this Sunday’s episode. But the real drama may come if the D.A. charges the whole family.
That doesn’t look likely unless there’s a crime beyond plural marriage. While illegal, there are so many cases like the Browns’ that they’re rarely prosecuted.

Chelsea Clinton, who Americans first got to know nearly two decades ago as the young daughter of President Bill Clinton, is now a married woman.
The lucky man is longtime boyfriend Marc Mezvinsky.
Wearing a dress by Vera Wang (a family friend who was present), the former First Daughter, 30, wed the investment banker, 32, in Rhinebeck, N.Y.
An interfaith ceremony for Chelsea, who is Methodist, and Marc, who is Jewish, was conducted by Rabbi James Ponet and the Rev. William Shillady.
Saturday’s wedding was attended by 400 friends and family members, most notably Bill and Hillary Rodham Clinton (wearing Oscar de la Renta).
The former President and current Secretary of State released a statement: “Today, we watched with great pride and overwhelming emotion as Chelsea and Marc wed in a beautiful ceremony at Astor Courts, surrounded by family and close friends.”

“We could not have asked for a more perfect day to celebrate the beginning of their life together, and we are so happy to welcome Marc into our family.”
“On behalf of the newlyweds, we want to give special thanks to the people of Rhinebeck for welcoming us and to everyone for their well-wishes on this special day.”
The guest list did not include Oprah Winfrey or President Obama, who joked on The View about his snub, but did feature Ted Danson, Mary Steenburgen, Madeleine Albright, and a handful of congressmen and other prominent Democrats.
Rhinebeck, a beautiful, small town in upstate N.Y., was swarmed all week by paparazzi and national media trying to catch a glimpse of the festivities.
Everybody understandably wanted to see how the teenager who grew up in the White House blossomed into a blushing bride – and with good reason.
Chelsea Clinton and Marc Mezvinsky live in New York City and have dated since 2005, although they have been friends since they were teenagers.

Ian Ziering is officially spoken for! Again!
The former Beverly Hills: 90210 star married love Erin Ludwig at Pelican Hill Resort in Newport Beach, Calif. on Friday, just as the sun was starting to set.
The couple exchanged vows on a gazebo overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Celebrating with the couple were several 90210 alumni and significant others:

The pair spent their first married night together at a villa on the Pelican Hill property. Their next door neighbors for the night? Jessica Alba and Cash Warren on one side, Britney Spears and Jason Trawick on the other.
Wonder if Jamie Spears had an adjoining room too. Kidding!
Ziering announced his engagement to Erin Ludwig in February of this year. A romantic photo of the actor sharing a champagne toast with Ludwig (who wears an engagement ring) is captioned, “So in love with my love am I.” What a romantic.
The star split from first wife Nikki in 2002 after five years.

At long, long last, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have decided to tie the knot, at least according to the venerable celebrity gossip scribes at OK! Weekly.
Sure, there’s not a snowball’s chance in hell this is happening, but why let mere fact thwart a good story paired with a romantic-looking stock photo?
Certainly no reason we can think of here at The Hollywood Gossip.
The reason for Brangelina’s (fake) change of heart? SIX reasons!
Because it would “mean the world” to Maddox, Zahara, Pax, Vivienne, Knox and Shiloh and the new baby she’s perpetually pregnant with, that’s why!
WEDDING FOR THE KIDS: The Jolie-Pitt brood and Brad Pitt’s mom allegedly tag-teamed the wedding-averse celebrities into making it official … riiiiight.
The children, a source hilariously says, have been wanting a wedding since they’ve been old enough to understand their parents are not officially married.
We’re sure this plunges Knox into a state of emotional despair every night. She supposedly loves when babies cry … maybe they figure this will help?
“First it was Maddox, who has begged his parents to tie the knot for years,” the insider says. “Lately, Shiloh and Zahara have been chiming in, too.”
Not only that, but “Pax thinks it would be the coolest to be a ring bearer.”
It totally would. We just hope Suri Cruise, Sean Preston and Jayden James Federline are invited to fill out the bridal party. Best. Fake. Wedding. Ever.
