Greg Kelly, a co-host on Fox News’ Good Morning New York and the on of that city’s police Commissioner, has been accused of rape.
The reporter was not in his usual seat on that program this morning because a woman told cops she met Kelly for a drink on October 8 at the South Street Seaport. He then allegedly went back to the law office at which she worked and sexually assaulted the female.
A source tells The New York Daily News that the accuser did not report the crime until Tuesday night.
Good Day New York reported the story today, but did not reveal any information about Kelly’s long or even short-term status on the show.
Asked about her co-worker, Rosanna Scotto simply told the newspaper: “I love Greg. That’s all I can say.”
As of this posting, no criminal charges have been filed against Kelly.

Warming up her vocals for what is sure to be a memorable performance, Kelly Clarkson hit the stage for a pre-game rehearsal at the Rugby League Grand Final at ANZ Stadium in Sydney, Australia earlier today (October 1).
The “Since You’ve Been Gone” songstress opted for a one-tone wardrobe for the rev-up, wearing a black cap, hoodie and skinny jeans as she belted out a few notes in preparation for the big show.
Kelly is on location Down Under as she readies for the release of her forthcoming album “Stronger,” due for its Australian debut on October 21st, while its stateside drop date is set for October 24th.
Showing her love for her record label, an elated Miss Clarkson took to her WhoSay page, writing, “I freaking love my label in Australia! I mean I love all of the people that work with me at all of the Sony labels around the world but Australia really stands out! Thank you Sony Australia for being so supportive and taking the time to know me and bringing a baby kangaroo, and other Australian critters as a surprise for me at the label party because you know I love animals and it would make me happy! Thank you thank you thank you! Such a hard working group and I LOVE Australia!!”

Joining the many stars taking the stage in Las Vegas, Kelly Clarkson performed during day one of the iHeartRadio Music Festival on Friday night (September 23).
The “American Idol” alum confidently belted out an array of her hit songs at the MGM Grand Garden Arena venue including her brand new single “Mr Know It All”.
Miss Clarkson joined a full slate of talent partaking in the first running of the iHeartRadio Music Festival – as Carrie Underwood, Jay-Z, Coldplay and the Black Eyed Peas were among other acts on-hand for the music extravaganza’s opening night.
The two day Sin City showcase will close out on Saturday with top names such as Lady Gaga, Nicki Minaj, Kenny Chesney and Jennifer Lopez.

Stepping out for an exciting evening, Kelly Brook was spotted at the Cosmopolitan Ultimate Women of the Year Awards in London last night (November 2).
The British model gave the paparazzi a little flash as she hopped into her car along with 22-year-old comedian Jack Whitehall.
And it seems Jack has already had a run-in with Kelly’s ex-boyfriend Danny Cipriani- and he isn’t a fan.
Whitehall explained, “I hate Danny Cipriani. I was in a club with my girlfriend and he came up and in front of me was like, “Me and you should go for dinner.”‘

As they continue to heal after the tragic passing of their son Jett back in January of 2009, John Travolta and Kelly Preston have announced that their family is expecting a new arrival!
Breaking the joyous news via their Web sites, the Hollywood couple tells, “It’s impossible to keep a secret … especially one as wonderful as this.”
Travolta, 56, and Preston, 47, continue, “We want to be the first to share this great news with everyone that we are expecting a new addition to our family.”
Also parents to a 10-year-old daughter named Ella Bleu, the family signed the announcement “Love, John, Kelly and Ella.”
