Jennifer Aniston is reportedly cutting back on her acting schedule amid the latest round of rumors that – you guessed it – the 42-year-old is pregnant.
The actress, who is dating Justin Theroux, has decided not to take on any more movies for the foreseeable future, according to the UK’s Daily Mail.
She is still doing promotional work for her new comedy Wanderlust – she and Justin met on set – but Jen told her agent she wants a break afterward.
HMM.
“She wants to focus on herself and hopefully becoming a mother,” says a source to the British paper, succinctly, with no evidence to support that whatsoever.
Of course, there is also an alleged professional reason: “She is thinking of launching her own fashion line which would allow her to spend more time at home.”
Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux recently went on vacation to Colorado, where they reportedly spent every night in together. You know what THAT means.
It means if nothing else, tabloids will have a field day, given that Brad Pitt just got Angelina Jolie pregnant with #7 recently … according to nonsense sources.
AH, good times. Nice to see Brangelina and Anistoux powering the gossip rumor mill early and often to ensure 2012 is off to a rousing, absurd start.

New details have emerged regarding former Major League Baseball star Manny Ramirez and his arrest yesterday on charges of domestic violence.
According to the police report obtained by TMZ, Manny’s wife, Juliana, said her husband “struck her in the left side of the face with an open hand causing her to hit her head against the headboard of the bed” during an argument inside their home.
She then dialed 911, but refused medical attention.
Ramirez claims he merely “grabbed” Juliana by the shoulders and she accidentally crashed into the headboard when he “shrugged her.”
At a hearing this morning in Broward Country, Manny’s bond was set at $2,500 and a judge ordered him against having any contact with his wife until an investigation was complete.
The last team the slugger played for, meanwhile, is not suffering from his absence in the lineup: the Tampa Bay Rays only trail the Boston Red Sox by three games in the chase for the American League Wild Card.

After scoring Best Pop Video honors early in the show, Britney Spears returned to the stage to receive the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday night (August 28).
The “Hold It Against Me Singer” was introduced by Lady Gaga’s alter-ego, Jo Calderone, who called her an “inspiration” while telling the Nokia Theatre audience, “She taught us all how to be fearless, and the industry wouldn’t be the same without her.”
Talking to MTV after the show, Spears voiced her joy in the Video Vanguard Award presentation, as she said, “It was really crazy. I had no idea what to expect. The kids were amazing and so entertaining, and it was a really fun night. It was really cool. I was like, ‘Wow, that’s really sweet!’
The “29-year-old added, “I loved the little girl in the ‘Slave’ outfit. She was just so tiny and she delivered and she had such a great performance…. They were all so great, and you could tell they worked really hard.”
Also mentioning Gaga’s intro (which included an impromptu smooch, Britney gushed, “She was in full character! We just got onstage and we just kind of felt it out; we didn’t know what was going on, so it was interesting!”

Just six months after announcing their engagement, Jason Mraz and fiancee Tristan Prettyman have called off their pre-wedding commitment.
The “I’m Yours” singer revealed the unexpected news to the Daily Beast yesterday (June 7), explaining, “My greatest mistake right now is, I’ve been clinging to my art. In that, I have victory for my art and a great loss for my heart. At the moment, my beautiful fiancee is no longer my beautiful fiancee.”
Jason continued, “In my relationship, I was giving myself away to make the relationship better, but in actuality, wasn’t doing better by doing that. I became less of a man.”
Despite the split, Mraz says the two are still there for one another, as he told, “We are still super friends, we go to yoga together, we surf together. We acknowledge the journey that each of us is on. We certainly want each of us to feel whole and complete. And it’s when you’re whole and complete that that attraction exists and it really thrives.”

Ralph Macchio and Karina Smirnoff had a great run, but ultimately fell short of the finals on last night’s Dancing with the Stars results show.
The Karate Kid star says his elimination wasn’t exactly a shock, but insinuated that the judges dug a hole for himself and Karina Smirnoff.
“We feel like the comments from the judges last night put us in a pretty tough position – even for our fan base – to pull it out,” he says.
“That was unfortunate because I thought some of the comments were disrespectful and not constructive for how I can better myself.”
The actor felt like the judges were “making fun” of him and Smirnoff, and wasn’t pleased. “I thought we earned respect over the season.”
“It just felt like the playing field wasn’t level for some reason last night. That was disappointing. But I was ready for this [elimination].”
Disrespected or not, it’s hard to argue that any of the top three don’t belong on merit, something that Macchio acknowledges freely.
Macchio believes Chelsea Kane is the best dancer of the remaining stars competing on the show, but thinks it’s anyone’s Mirror Ball.
