Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller can’t agree on much. But, for the sake of their children, the troubled former couple has reportedly settled on a custody arrangement.
Sources tell TMZ that lawyers for both sides met in court today and agreed that Sheen and Mueller would share legal and physical custody of their (poor) twins, Bob and Max. The parents just need to sign the papers now to make it final.

In news that is, unfortunately, equally exciting for Mueller, you can look for her tonight on the premiere of Paris Hilton’s reality show, The World According to Paris. We wish we were making that up.

It’s come to this for Halle Berry and Gabriel Aubry: the former couple, who appeared to split so peacefully last year, will soon head to court to sort out a custody arrangement over daughter Nahla.
Indications of a sour relationship kicked off in late December, when Aubry asked a judge to legally declare him the two-year old’s father.
About a week ago, meanwhile, sources revealed that the Canadian model was legitimately worried that Berry would deny him access to their child. The insider cited Halle’s rage over Aubry’s most recent flings as a basis for this concern.

Now, Berry has dropped out of the movie New Year’s Eve, as she prepares for a long battle in court with her past lover. Says her rep:
“She has attempted to resolve these custody issues amicably with her daughter’s father, Gabriel Aubry, directly, but given his lack of cooperation, Halle has no choice but to seek swift judicial intervention.”
It’s unclear what options are on the table – shared custody? full custody? – but this rep makes it sound like Berry has little intention of letting Aubry get remotely close to Nahla.
“Halle has serious concerns for her daughter’s well-being while in the care of her father for any extended period of time and is prepared to take all necessary steps to protect her,” he says.

After watching Oksana Grigorieva on Larry King last night, Mel Gibson didn’t issue any sort of rebuttal. Rather, he sought sole custody of their daughter, Lucia.
The actor’s lawyers will appear in court to ask the judge in his custody war to award him sole custody of baby Lucia in response to Oksana’s sitdown on CNN.
Team Mel alleges that Oksana’s false and derogatory statements to the media show she is not acting in the best interests of Lucia and should cost her custody.

MEL VS. OKSANA: With new barbs traded every day, this is one of the ugliest custody feuds we’ve ever seen, and the scary thing is that it’s only beginning.
In addition to attempting to take custody from Oksana Grigorieva, Mel’s lawyers will ask Judge Scott Gordon to award her visitation, but only with a monitor.
Moreover, they will seek to deny Oksana any overnight visits with the baby, the same thing she’s requested to strip Mel of several times (to no avail so far).
This isn’t some reactionary shot in the dark. Gordon has warned Oksana she could lose custody if she talked to the media. We’ll see if he backs that up …

One of the burning questions surrounding the Tiger Woods divorce settlement is where Elin Nordegren and the couple’s children will live once the split is final.
That’s still unclear, but it appears as if she will call the shots.
Sources familiar with the divorce say Elin Woods will have control over where they reside, opening the door for her to potentially settle in her native Sweden.
The agreement was supposed to be finalized by the end of last week, but there is still one document being negotiated – presumably pertaining to the kids.
No wonder Tiger’s been so frustrated and distracted lately.

CAUSE FOR CELEBRATION: Tiger’s almost single at last! Woo!
As for the property settlement, we reported last week that Elin will get right around $100 million, somewhere between 1/5 and 1/6 of Tiger’s net worth.
In other words, he’s worth between $500-600 million.
All those earlier reports of her getting $750 million? Probably a little over the top, considering he doesn’t even have that much. Still, $100 million. Wow.
As for whether Elin actually moves to Sweden permanently with the kids, it’s uncertain. But the divorce deal gives her “wide latitude” in figuring it out.
What do you think she should do? Leave for good?
