Miley Cyrus Warns of Internet Dangers
Being an Internet celebrity herself, Miley Cyrus warns that the Web is a “dangerous” place.
The singer and actress is hoping to change young fans idea of the Internet, saying, “I’m telling kids, don’t go on the internet. It’s dangerous, it’s not fun, it wastes your life, and you should be outside playing sports or something.”
The 17-year-old feels that the Internet takes away from the real world.“I just think it’s kind of lame. I feel like I hang out with my friends and they’re so busy taking pictures of what they’re doing and putting them on Facebook that they’re not really enjoying what they’re doing.”
Meanwhile, Miley admits that she likes “tweeting vicariously.”
“I’ve been tweeting vicariously through my friend who is on my show, Emily,” Miley, who quit Twitter last October, said earlier this month.
“So I’m like, ‘For all the life that you live on Twitter, I’ll live through you’. So I’m always like, ‘What are people saying?’I posted a picture on there the other day. She took my picture and I said just write, ‘Hi from Miley’. I stood by a thing of hay and said, ‘Hey!’ and that was it.” View full post on Celebrity Scandals: The Gossip Girls
