Tending to her all-important work duties, Jessica Alba was spotted looking stylish in Burbank, California on Thursday (September 30).
Wearing an interesting pair of boots as she was escorted out by a security staffer, the “Machete” actress visited ABC Studios for a quick business-related meeting.
Seemingly not the most punctual of mornings for the beautiful brunette, Miss Alba tweeted, “I hate being late… Its too early for this level of stress.”
Meanwhile, Jess also took to Twitter to reinforce her longtime belief that global warming is a critical issue, as she wrote earlier in the week, “108 in So Cal on Sept 27th. Ummmm global warming?”

The drama in her life is on-going, and now Lindsay Lohan is reportedly pleading to stay in rehab instead of going to jail while waiting for her October hearing.
According to a source who spoke with Radar Online, “Lindsay is still being assessed by her treatment team but the team is saying that she should spend at least 45 days getting in-patient treatment. It’s going to take her body at least 30 days to get the substances out of her system.”
“Her body needs to do a lot of healing, and the doctors want to treat her after the remnants of the drug use have left her body. The real work begins after that has occurred, and that is when progress begins to happen.”
Furthermore, the source added, “Lindsay is required to be at the hearing. She will be there. She will be escorted by at least one person from the rehab facility to make sure she doesn’t stray. It’s likely that a member of Lindsay’s treatment team will also be called to testify. At that point, if Lindsay is making improvements, Lindsay’s team would ask Judge Fox to not put her in jail at all, or defer her sentence until she is finished with her in-patient treatment.”
Lindsay’s hearing is scheduled for October 22.

Making for quite the joyous news, James van der Beek is the proud father of a healthy baby girl!
Tweeting about the family addition, the former “Dawson’s Creek” actor wrote, “Had the blessing of becoming a father over the weekend… Couldn’t come close to describing this bliss even if I had 140 million characters.”
Being brought into this world on Saturday (September 25) was daughter Olivia, with whom James conceived with wife Kimberly Brook.
Continuing along with his Twitter excitement, James added, “I apologize in advance for any obnoxiously precious new-dad tweets that may follow,” he wrote. “I’m under her spell…”

Now that they boast a full slate of celebrity co-owners, the Miami Dolphins kicked off their season opener to quite the star-studded atmosphere on Sunday night (September 26).
Prior to kickoff, stars such as Kim Kardashian, Fergie and Tara Reid all worked their way down the orange arrivals carpet at Sun Life Stadium while readying to watch the hometown team take on the visiting New York Jets.
As for the entertainment, fans were treated to pregame fireworks and a national anthem duet by part-owners Marc Anthony and Fergie
Topped off with a halftime performance by Enrique Iglesias, who was introduced by Gloria Estefan, the only disappointment of the night ended up being Miami’s close loss to New York by a score of 31-23.

Tending to weekend promotional obligations, Bethenny Frankel was busy greeting fans at the Real Style Live event at Tanger Outlets in Deer Park, New York on Saturday (September 25).
Joined by husband Jason Hoppy, as well as Sue Blumenfeld, David Blumenfeld and Steve Tanger, the “Real Housewives” star dished out tips on fashion, food, fitness and motherhood while selling and signing copies of her book, The Skinny Girl Dish.
Getting quite the positive turnout, Miss Frankel tweeted, “I just signed 600 books&jason is sleeping.welcome to my marriage 
”
Once finished up, the 39-year-old joined her hubby for dinner, writing to her Twitter followers, “Feeling international:Japanese food last pm.ordering thai tonight.what r u guys having?”

Judge Fox ruled earlier today … Lindsay could be held without bail. But apparently the Judge’s ruling flies in the face of California law, which gives defendants the right to bail in misdemeanor cases.
